Background:

We searched for the “right” trainer at Kenshō for three years. I love Micheli because she is multi-disciplinary, based in natural horsemanship, colt starting, cowboying / reined cow horse. She takes a relationship-with-your-horse approach to all disciplines. She’s well-rounded, experienced and pushes her limits, often in Montana, Oregon, Fort Worth or Nevada , working with some of the top trainers in the country.  She’s calm, kind and makes training a fun, informative learning experience for everyone involved.

Micheli Lynn, Trainer, Colt Starter, and Equine-Facilitated Learning Specialist; experience in English and Western disciplines

Micheli Lynn has been riding since before she could walk — born in Cabo San Lucas, she spent her earliest years being passed from horse to horse on the beaches of Mexico. After competing across New England in Hunter Jumper circuits, she earned a degree in Psychology and went on to become EAGALA-certified, spending two years running the equine program at the Burke Center for Youth in Texas — teaching emotional regulation, communication, and trust through horses with at-risk youth. Her horsemanship training took her to McGinnis Meadows Ranch in Montana to study Buck Brannaman-style horsemanship, then across the country — Fort Worth, Oregon, Nevada — starting colts for performance programs and reined cow horse competitors while training under some of the finest horsemen in the business. Today Micheli blends psychology, energy work, and true cowboy horsemanship into a holistic approach that honors both horse and human — building partnerships based on respect, feel, and understanding, never force.
