Every experience at Kenshō begins the same way.

You step off the noise of the world and onto 25 acres of Hill Country land. You breathe differently almost immediately.

From there, each experience weaves together what this place does naturally — nature immersion, urban and device detox, on-the-ground time with the horses — with Equine-Facilitated Learning, energy work, and transformational coaching, depending on which experience calls to you.

No riding. No horse experience required. Just presence. And whatever you've been carrying.

"I find my self constantly witnessing something that's hard not to call magic when facilitating these sessions. People have profound breakthroughs — when they're open to connecting with these animals, something shifts that years of traditional coaching / therapy / self-help hasn't touched."

— Gretchen Fox Palmer, Facilitator

Why it works…

Horses are master mirrors.

As prey animals, they have spent generations learning to read intent with extraordinary subtlety. They notice your state of being before you do. Your energy. Your emotions. The gap between what you're saying and what you're actually feeling.

They see through our masks.

And when we work with them in this way — on the ground, in presence, without agenda — their reflections surface the patterns and blind spots we couldn't see on our own.

But horses are not just mirrors. They are also medicine.

There is something ancient and inexplicable in the way they show up for exactly what you need. Sometimes that is a pattern brought into sharp relief. Sometimes it is a blind spot gently, undeniably revealed. And sometimes — with no explanation that language can fully hold — it is simply quiet solace. A regulation of the nervous system so profound it mirrors what they offer the members of their own herd.

They have been doing this for each other for thousands of years.

When you enter their world with an open hand and an honest heart, they will do it for you too.

Your Guide

Your guide through all of it is Gretchen Fox Palmer — ranch host, experience designer, EFL coach, Reiki Master, and the woman who built this ranch because she was longing for exactly this kind of place.

What calls to you?

Restore & Regenerate

You're not broken. You're just depleted. The world has been loud. Your nervous system has been holding more than it was meant to hold. Come to the ranch for 90 minutes and let the herd do what they do best — bring you back to yourself. →The Still Point

Release & Break Free

Some things don't live in the mind. They live in the field. You've done the work. And still — something won't quite shift. Lie down on a table in the shaded oak grove, horses nearby, and let something release that words couldn't reach.

Grieve & Be Held

Grief lives in the body. Horses know how to hold it. You are carrying a loss. Maybe you've been carrying it quietly for a long time. This is a space to be witnessed — not coached, not fixed. Just held. By the land, by the herd, by someone who understands that some things need presence, not words.

Lead

The horses don't respond to your title. They respond to who you are. Bring your team. Bring yourself. Experience what conscious leadership actually feels like — not as a concept, but as a felt, embodied reality. This is where leadership development stops being a slide deck and starts being something you carry in your body.

Play & Celebrate

Sometimes you don't need to go deep. You just need to remember what joy feels like. Cowgirl cocktails. Horses getting bubble baths. Golden hour on the pasture with good women and cold drinks. No agenda. No inner work required. Just a really good time at a really beautiful ranch.
