Ranch Riding Workshop with horsewoman and trainer Micheli Lynn
Increase your horsewoman confidence in ranch riding scenarios!
This half-day session is designed to help riders strengthen partnership, gain confidence, and learn practical skills they can apply right away.
We will start in the arena with a natural horsemanship foundation, then practice a reigning pattern to get training feedback on quality of our starts, stops, form — and lead changes.
Next up, roping 101 - whether you’re starting on the ground or working in saddle, you’ll walk away with your next step to gain this important ranch riding skill.
Then we will move to the trails to practice our ranch obstacles like gate opening and closing, trail clearing, and separating from the herd.
This clinic helps you create a stronger partnership while having fun in the saddle.

Background:
We searched for the “right” trainer at Kenshō for three years. I love Micheli because she is multi-disciplinary, based in natural horsemanship, colt starting, cowboying / reined cow horse. She takes a relationship-with-your-horse approach to all disciplines. She’s well-rounded, experienced and pushes her limits, often in Montana, Oregon, Fort Worth or Nevada , working with some of the top trainers in the country. She’s calm, kind and makes training a fun, informative learning experience for everyone involved.
